Thread: Squeal still there

    After two months of messing with it I still don't know where the sound is comming from.
    I've replaced the uppder idler pulley, PCV valve, the SC belt, and still have a very loud squeal comming from the SC.
    It only happens at idle and when given a little gas it goes away. Also the idle is high (between 1500-2000 rpms) but it does not fluctuate.

    Everyone I work with (I work at Acura in the Service dept) says the noise is comming
    from the Supercharger/manifold.

    I'm making plans now to remove the SC and send it back to JR.

    Any more ideas? I'm desperate.

    I noticed that sound just today also I was reving the car to 3000 and launched it and I heard a pretty loud squealing sound it happened a few times after and it went away I will check my belt needs to be tighten.... since I changed mines a month ago

    anybody got any ideas
